752 as 11456 comes to the rescue on ELR ‘Legends of Steam’ event 14th March 2025
Not long before the start of the ELR event on Friday 14th March the Railway found out that one of the visiting locos, B1 class 61306, could not arrive until late in the day. As a result our loco 752 running as 11456 was at short notice steamed to take over the duties of 61306 on the ‘shuttle’ services on the 14th until 61306 arrived from the National network at Heywood in the late afternoon.
