CARRIAGES
For some years there has been a Carriage Survey database which is now named Railway Heritage Register On-Line
To access the main website CLICK HERE (screen opens in new window)
From this main screen select the option Carriage Survey
This displays’Search Criteria’, scroll down to ‘Designed For’ and from the drop down list select LYR Click on ‘Submit’ at bottom left, then is displayed a list on all known preserved L&YR carriages -this also includes those which have not survived.
WAGONS

Follow the same instructions after selecting Wagon Survey and in ‘Designed For’ from the drop down list select L&YR
