279 restoration and photos


Conservation of 279 started after its arrival at Oxenhope in 1996 but the full restoration did not get under way until 2010, the whole project taking around 7 years.
Views of the launch date, 21st June 2017, our special guest was a lady who was born in 279 and lived there for some years

2015 to 2017 also saw fitting of the upholstery (top 2 rows) and external finishing along with a multitude of details

2014’s main work was on the doors and roof covering with a start on the heating system
