752 transformation October 2026
Since operating the service train on the East Lancashire Railway in September, Saddletank 752 has now regained its identity from the Victorian age in the L&YR freight livery with red lining.
This has been completed professionally and is the same livery as carried by 752 when it featured in ‘The Great Cavalcade’ at Rainhill in May 1980, then moving along the national network for a stay at The Museum of Science and Industry.
Following that stay it ran at intervals of the Worth Valley in this livery until withdrawn for major overhaul.
